No problem! I saw you in the forums and I had a look at your page.

Things Fall Apart isn't the best book I've read. The ending is rather predictable and it is written from the wrong perspective in my eyes. I have to do it for my English exam this year (Been studying it for the last 2 years) so I've gotten quite annoyed with it, hence I'm not a large fan of it.

True about the ending. I can't imagine studying it for two months, let alone two years, so I can see how you'd come to dislike it (even if it had been your cup of tea).

Yo Yo Yo kid from the forums
I see you are a writer
a pretty good one at that
I am also a writer
they are songs
but a lyrics is just a poem that is sung instead of spoken right? lol
It's not as popular as some of the deviantveterans but hey maybe one day I'll have over 9000 views

Thank you.

I'm more of a prose kind of guy myself, definitely. I've tried my hand at poetry and have proved to myself that I am not particularly apt to it.

You're a pretty good lyricist, I'd say. I mean, all bands need good lyrics to be good, in my opinion. Case it point: Black Tide. Cool music, catchy tunes, bullshit lyrics. Steve Vai: Best guitarist in the world (opinion), very excellent singing voice, but horribly cheesy lyrics.

Yours remind me of a combination of Linkin Park (*hides*), Believe-era Disturbed, and...hmm...maybe some Iron Maiden in there.

nice
Disturbed's believe was one of my firs CDs
also one of my favorite bands
I also like linkin park, however only a few of my
songs really show a linkin park writing style (emo lyrics lol)
and Iron Maiden? really? thats cool lol

I don't know where I got the Iron Maiden part from, it just seemed appropriate somehow...like it was underlying or something. Maybe I was wrong; I'm not a huge Maiden fan.

And yeah, Believe and Sing The Sorrow by AFI (*hides, again*) are two albums that really bring me back to a time when I first started caring about music.

Hey there, kid from the forums!

Thanks for the watch, it is very much appreciated. And welcome to dA. :D

Thanks! I looked at your profile and I like your writing style. I'm more of a writer than an artist, but I haven't writ very many things that are short enough to post.

Ah cool, thank you! I'm always glad to get more support for my writing -- it just doesn't get much attention on this site, what with all the pretty pictures. =p

If you ever want me to take a look at something I'd be glad to. :D
